Programs and Services
We've created a number of programs and services to help foster mental well-being within our community. We have both services that directly help those who need mental health assistance, and programs to educate groups and individuals to support those who may need mental health support.
Mental Health Training
Too few of us would know how to respond if we saw someone having a panic attack or if we were concerned that a friend or co-worker might be showing signs of alcoholism.
A gatekeeper is someone in a position a recognize a crisis and the warning signs that someone may be contemplating suicide.

Support Groups
Free of charge and open to anyone struggling with mental health issues, or family and friends caring for someone with mental health issues.
This group is intended to support and offer a safe space for families and friends who have lost a loved one to addiction.
Court Mandated Programs
This class was created to better enable parents to help their children cope with the stress of divorce.

Holiday Help
Supports families living with and under care for mental illness by providing items on their wishlist for the holidays.
Giving donated gifts to patients in LTC units who may not otherwise receive one over the holiday season.
Other Programs and Services
A referral-based program that distributes non-perishable food, basic hygiene and household necessities.
Offering speakers for a variety of topics including general overview of MHAHC and specific mental health topics.
Provides a safe social & educational space for adults living with mental illness or in recovery who are treatment compliant.
